Lets take a look at Manchester Uniteds new signing Marcos Rojo

Manchester United confirmed the £16million transfer for Sporting Lisbon's Marcos Rojo, on a five-year deal, becoming United's third summer signing after Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera

The 24-year-old, Argentina international, impressed at the 2014 World Cup, managing to be in the world cup 2014 starting 11 team of the tournament.

Marcos Rojo has managed to impress Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal enough for him to be signed.

The Manchester United boss had been on the look-out for particular players all summer, he has prioritised the signing of a left-footed, ball-playing centre-back who can provide cover on the left flank. Marcos Rojo fits the bill for this perfectly.

The 24-year-old Argentinian was impressive at left-back in the Argentina team which reached the World Cup final, he has also played centre-back at Sporting for two years, starring as they finished second in Portugal last season.

His key attributes are his passing and his strength, at over six feet tall in height, with a strong physique, blistering pace and a decent aerial presence, he could be what Manchester United need in defense.

Rojo, who landed in Manchester on Tuesday evening and said joining United 'feels like a dream'.

'It is such an honour to say that I now play for Manchester United,' Rojo told the club website. 'The Premier League is the most exciting league in the world and to have the chance to play in it for the world's biggest club is a dream for me.

'I am young and am very keen to continue to learn the game, so playing for such an experienced technical coach as Louis van Gaal is a fantastic opportunity for me. I have joined United to work hard with my team-mates to win trophies and I know that the manager shares that ambition.' said Marcos Rojo.

He certainly looks to have all the attributes to do well at Man Utd.
