Football Manager 2015 Gameplay Beta

The beta version of football manager 2015 was released yesterday, with the game downloaded, it was time to decide who to manage on my first FM 2015 gameplay file. This is always an important thing to decide upon when creating a new save, you might choose to manage the team you support, your local team, or perhaps just a random team you stumble upon.

I myself like a challenge when it comes to playing football manager, I have been a season ticket holder at Maidenhead United, who play in the conference South, for about 4 seasons, so I really do like non league football and the challenges it provides on FM.

I am currently living in Oxford, so I decided that my first FM 2015 gameplay series would be with Oxford United. They have a great stadium and being within a City, Oxford do have the potential to be a big team. Having checked out the players within the squad, they do have a younger squad, so this is something that I can build upon. I will need to ensure that we are not overspending on wages, it is very easy to do when managing a team lower down the leagues. My aim for the first season is to get into the League 2 playoffs or even get promotion.

I will need to try and move through the leagues pretty quickly on this save file, but I do want this save to be a long term one, so having a season or two in League 1 and the Championship would not be the end of the world, before reaching the Premier League.

I hope you would like to join me on my football manager 2015 gameplay series, please do subscribe.
