Last night Liverpool played Chelsea in the Capital One Cup, the final score was 1-1. Chelsea had taken the lead through an Eden Hazard penalty, before Raheem Sterling leveled the scoring with a wonder goal. Football website clubcall.com reports that Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers was very pleased with Sterling's performance. At only 19 years old, Sterling is a Football Manager 2015 wonderkid and does look set to have a very bright future in football.

"It was very good. The rest has done him the world of good. He was outstanding," said Rodgers.

"He has that ability to run in behind but he can also exploit the space in front of the defender.

"His speed was frightening to get in and finish of his left side, it was a wonderful goal and he certainly deserved that for his performance."

Raheem Stirling Key Attributes

Pace - Sterlings ability to accelerate away from defenders and to use his pace to find himself space is a great attribute he has. The ability to open defences up and to create space for other members of the Liverpool team is a great attacking weapon that Brendan Rodgers can use.

Skill - Another strong ability of Sterling, is his ability to use his skill to create chances. Along with his pace he also has great skill, much like Chelsea's Eden Hazard, he is not the tallest, so has low centre of gravity when running with the ball. This is a nightmare for opposition defenders as this type of player can attract fouls. As was seen by Hazard winning the penalty in the Capital One Cup game.
