FM 2016 Icelandic Youth Academy Challenge Part 4

We continue today with part 4 of our Icelandic youth academy challenge on football manager 2016. I have to admit that I am very pleased with how things are going, the picture below is the league table after 9 games played, this is nearly half way through the season. We did start to lose a number of games after a promising start to the season, but we have managed to win the last two games.

Although not intended, I have needed to rely on players through our youth academy a lot this season, some of the older players are not playing too well, so I have needed to throw some of the younger players in to see how they get on. To be honest, some of them have done OK with game time.

Our aim at the beginning of the season, set by the board was to just survive against relegation. I am aiming to put us in a comfortable position this season and to try and beat the number of points and goals scored last season. I am looking to see progression with the number of goals we are scoring and conceding and I am looking to make sure we keep beating the previous seasons points tally.

I must admit I didn't think we would be doing as well as we have been this season, but hopefully we can continue to do well in the league and very soon we will have a new batch of youth players to bring into the team. I would like to get decent full backs and a good center back. I am not too happy with our defenders at all. Quite simply, we need better players in this area of the team.
