French striker Yaya Sanogo Loaned to Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have signed Yaya Sanogo on loan until the end of the season, the French striker has found his first team chances limited at Arsenal this season and he will be hoping that this loan move will reignite his career. The Mirror reports.
For Crystal Palace, who recently appointed ex Newcastle Manager, Alan Pardew, this is the first signing they have made since the appointment. Pardew has recognised the talent that Sanogo has.
"He's a young player with tremendous promise," said Pardew.
"He is somebody that I have tracked personally and this club has too so that fitted well."
"We have given him an opportunity. He needs to play more games and I think he's ready for that and he proved that at Arsenal."
"It's tough to get in their team but he's closer to the starting action with us."
Is Sanogo right for Crystal Palace?
Sanogo has shown good promise during his time at Arsenal, but his first team chances have been limited. Danny Welbeck has been okay since joining from Manchester United. Crystal Palace have scored just 22 goals in 21 Premier League this season, so they do need to start scoring more goals. Alan Pardew will be preying that Sanogo is the answer and that he can score goals for Palace.
Pardew is likely to be a busy man during the January Transfer Window.
